Inhaled Insulin Is On The Horizon

We are currently conducting a clinical research study to evaluate investigational inhaled insulin as an         alternative to insulin injections for people with type 1 or 2 diabetes who require insulin and have either asthma or COPD.

 

You will receive free insulin, free meter and strips and up to $1400.00 in compensation.

 

Study participants will receive a thorough physical examination, study-related medication and study

related medical care at no cost.

Diabetics

 

Are you type I or II Diabetic and over the age of 18?  Are you occasionally suffering from some or any of the following:

 

Burning, tingling, numbness, sharp, or stabbing pain in the feet or legs?

 

You may have a type of nerve damage caused by diabetes that is called diabetic neuropathy.  You may qualify to participate in a research study of an investigational medication for Diabetic Neuropathy. 

 

Receive at no cost study related diagnostic and lab testing, neurological and physical exams, study medication, and compensation for time and travel.

Are you postmenopausal, experiencing height loss, and concerned about osteoporosis?

If you are between the ages of 50 to 80, have not had a period for at least 2 years and not taking hormone replacement therapy or other treatment for osteoporosis,  you may be eligible to participate in a  research study of the effect of an investigational medication for osteoporosis. 

Qualified participants will receive study related tests and investigational medication, medical and gynecological exams, bone density scans and x-rays, mammogram, supplemental calcium, and vitamin D.

Compensation for time and travel may be available for qualified participants.

MICROALBUMIN 

Are you a Type I or II diabetic on insulin or oral medication?  Have you been told that you have protein in your urine or suspect early stage kidney disease? 

If so, you may qualify to participate in a research study.  Male and female participants who are between the ages of 18-75 are needed. 

Those who qualify may receive study related physical, EKG, chest x-ray, study medication and reimbursement for time and travel.
