During Your Appointment

The INITIAL EVALUATION will require 45-60 minutes of your time as we will
perform a complete history and physical examination.  An additional 15-30 minutes may
be required for other laboratory studies.  Therefore, in order that you will be ready to see
your physician at the appointed time, it is necessary that you arrive 45 minutes early to
complete your lab work.

At your FIRST RETURN VISIT we will review, in detail, the results of your
initial examination and laboratory studies.  This visit will require 15-45 minutes
depending on what, if any, additional testing will be required to further clarify your
medical problems.

FOLLOW UP VISITS usually take 20-30 minutes in addition to the time required
to obtain any laboratory studies needed.  To keep your waiting time to a minimum and in
order to have routine lab results available when we see you, you should ask if you can
come in one or two weeks prior to your appointment to have these labs drawn (excluding
HMO patients -- HMOs require patients to have labs drawn the day of their appointment).  If this
is not possible then you should arrive approximately 30 minutes early in order to have your lab
work done prior to the time you are to meet with your doctor.  If physician referral is necessary
for the lab work, you should bring it with you.
