Firas Akhrass, MD
Dr. Firas Akhrass is a board-certified endocrinologist at the Diabetes & Glandular Disease Clinic in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at Union Memorial Hospital, and completed his fellowship in endocrinology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Akhrass specializes in treating diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and PCOS. He is fluent in English and Arabic. As an active member of several medical organizations, he is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Akhrass is currently accepting new patients. He looks forward to partnering with his patients on their journey to better health.
